Expert Hair, Nails, and Makeup Services at Jorge Pastor Hair and Makeup Studio

Jorge is a native Colombian and a professional hair and makeup artist who possesses extraordinary ability in his art and special-izes in everything the beauty industry involves. He’s justifiably proud of his skills and ethics, and he has a true passion for what he does.

Jorge’s 30-year professional background includes photography, cinema, theater, and television. In Colombia, he opened his own beauty salon and enjoyed great success there. He also worked as a professional hair stylist and makeup artist for the Miss Colombia beauty pageant for several years.

Upon immigrating to the United States, Jorge expanded his credentials by becoming licensed in New York, California, and Florida. He also increased his experience with clients such as Chanel, Clinique, Discovery Channel, Channel 7, Univision, Telemundo, Ideas Publishing Group and the New York

Fashion Week for Mercedes-Benz and Carolina Herrera. Additionally, he worked on special events for stores like Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys New York, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

In his 2013 work with Discovery Channel Upfront, Jorge styled a diverse group of celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Morgan Freeman, William Hurt, LaToya Jackson, The Golden Sisters (Mary Bartnicki, Josie Cavaluzzi, and Teresa Dahlquist), Monte Durham, Kate Stoltzfus, and many more.

Since his return to the Miami area, he has freelanced for magazines, photoshoots, runways, photographers, and private clients. He was also selected to be part of the 2014 and 2015 Miss Universe Pageants’ makeup teams. After a few years of freelancing, and after the pandemic hit, Jorge decided it was time to open his own hair and makeup studio.

The Jorge Pastor Hair and Makeup Studio enables Jorge to contribute to the community by giving him a platform to utilize his combined skills, makeup artistry, and experience. His goal is to provide magnificent service to his clientele and job opportunities to young, talented, but as-yet inexperienced artists who are willing to learn and grow.
